MODEL CITIZENS: THE WINGS OF CHANGE ISN’T A WAR STORY.
It’s a fast-moving adventure about friendship, loyalty, ingenuity and what can happen when two very different generations discover they have more in common than they expected.
Five young friends stumble upon a hidden airplane hangar and an unforgettable group of retired veterans, pilots and mechanics who are about to become a very big part of their lives.
They’re smart. They’re skilled. They’re funny. They’re occasionally stubborn.
And they’re definitely not sitting on the sidelines.
They’re right in the middle of the adventure.
TWO GENERATIONS. ONE WILD ADVENTURE.
At first, the kids and the veterans don’t seem to have much in common.
That doesn’t last long.
The veterans know airplanes, mechanics and how to make things work. The kids bring energy, imagination and ideas that don’t always sound entirely reasonable.
Together, they work on model aircraft, solve problems, disagree, laugh, take a few chances and form friendships none of them expected.
They learn from each other. They look out for each other. And somewhere along the way, they become a team.
No generation is pushed into the background. Everyone has a role to play. Everyone brings something different to the team.
And when a serious problem threatens their town, they’re going to need all of it.
NOT A WAR STORY. A STORY ABOUT WHAT MATTERS.
The veterans in Model Citizens bring their experience, skills and history with them — but the story isn’t about their time at war.
It’s about what comes next.
